Ralph Razor is a contractor, he is employed to plan social and media events across the country. he chooses venue, style, theme. He is a much sought after events planner, organising events nation wide. he works in all kinds of artistic styles, recently he planned the 99 Mary street event using a Genteried style. this involves reworking old industrial complexes. He is funded by the event hosts after he names his price. The event saw 150 people at the event, a number which he had also decided upon. The target audience for that event happened to be key creative industrial figureheads. When planning these events, Ralph must factor in everything. he made the event free entry, however it was invitation only to avoid the risk of freeloaders (people who turn up to free events for free food and drink. The event needed to reflect Sheffield's environment. he needed to take into account Wi-Fi and internet connection. Social networking is a big deal in modern culture, and Ralph had to make sure his delegates could access twitter, Facebook etc. Keeping in with the Sheffield theme, the food was 'Yorkshire' themed (Meats, black pudding etc.) The venue was also lacking a sound system, which he had to hire a sound system, of which he appointed himself DJ. Once all factors had been accounted for, he conducted a health and safety check, taping down lose cables, teaching the staff correct procedure and conducting a general health and safety assessment.
